The Citizen Police Review Board will hold a public hearing in Lawrenceville on Tuesday night for… The Citizen Police Review Board will hold a public hearing in Lawrenceville on Tuesday night for people who have grievances about police conduct during the G-20 Summit demonstrations.

People attending the meeting will have three minutes to tell their stories. A stenographer will take notes, and someone will record video of the event so that the board can use the testimonies in its investigations.

“We want to be able to have a document that’s got credibility,” Elizabeth Pittinger, the board’s executive director, said. “We want to be able to have something that comes from the people.”

Notaries will also attend the meeting, so people with grievances can file formal complaints, Pittinger said.

She said tonight’s meeting will be “the jumping-off point” for the review board’s investigation and that the group hopes to eventually hold a meeting in Oakland.
