Shortly after 11 a.m., police received a call that the National City Bank at 3700 Fifth Ave. was robbed.

Police said they were still trying to confirm the details of the robbery, but no one was believed to be hurt.

The last bank robbery in Oakland occurred Feb. 24, when a 5-foot-8 black man robbed the Parkvale Bank on 3520 Forbes Ave., across the street from Forbes Hall.
