When there’s nothing better to talk about, my friends and I occasionally turn our attentions… When there’s nothing better to talk about, my friends and I occasionally turn our attentions to a graceless roundtable discussion we like to call “Oh my gosh, guess how much I ate today.”

Somebody will begin, “I had 97 bowls of cereal, six granola bars, 15 pieces of cake and 4 liters of regular Pepsi.”

“Oh, no, no,” somebody else will chime in. “I had 300 bowls of cereal, 19 granola bars, 68 cookies and an entire carton of whole milk.”

“I just can’t get enough of those Market Central cereal bars,” somebody groans. “I ate like 40.”

And so on and so forth. Thankfully, none of us suffer from actual eating disorders. We’re healthy and active girls who follow that classic female mantra, “the diet starts tomorrow” – leaving today, then, to complain about our ravenous appetites.
