Art meets competition at Union Project

These are among the few rules that artists competing in Art Olympic Theater will abide by on Saturday night at the Great Hall of the Union Project, a community arts center in Highland Park.

They’ve had several weeks to prepare their acts and fill their suitcases.

Tom Sarver, the originator of this event and master of ceremonies for the night, said, “I’m excited about the Union Project location because it’s going to add an extra challenge for artists. The Union Project used to be a church, and the floor is slightly sloped.”
