11:18 a.m. – An officer mediated a domestic dispute at Fifth Avenue and DeSoto Street.

1:56 p.m. – An individual reported the theft of a book from an open mail slot in the Learning Research ‘ Development Center.

5:06 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Thomas Anthony DeLuca, of Oakmont, Pa., for public drunkenness in the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue.

6:27 p.m. – Investigators conducted a surveillance of a suspicious person on upper campus.

8:51 p.m. – An officer assisted Pittsburgh police with a suspicious person in the 100 block of Morewood Avenue.

Friday, March 21

12:20 a.m. – Police cited students Dillon Francis Hoeft, of Franklin, Pa., student John Kregzdy Cunningham, of 817 Bower Hill Rd. and non-affiliate David Betten, of 1508 Kenzie Drive, for disorderly conduct in the 400 block of McKee Place.

3:28 a.m. – Burned popcorn set off a fire alarm at the Phi Kappa Theta house.

8:08 a.m. – An officer responded to 201 North Craig Street after staff members accidentally activated a security alarm

10:04 a.m. – An officer extinguished a small trash fire in front the Salk Hall.

3:10 p.m. – An individual reported the theft of his bicycle from the Litchfield Towers patio.

4:01 p.m. – An officer cited a driver and confiscated the vehicle’s license plate for driving with a suspended registration on Centre Avenue.

5:54 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Lasha Monique Brown, of McKeesport, Pa., for disorderly conduct in Scaife Hall.

5:59 p.m. – An individual reported the theft of her backpack from Hillman Library.

9:28 p.m. – In the Litchfield Towers Lobby, police handed non-affiliate Kevin Cunningham, of 6 North Ave., Apt. 8, a summons arrest for furnishing alcohol to a minor, and they cited student Stephen Daniel Schein, of 412 Tower A, for underage possession of alcohol.

11:53 p.m. – An individual reported being assaulted at an off-campus location on North Dithridge Street.

Saturday, March 22

1:00 a.m. – Police cited students James Burns, of Phoenixville, Pa., and Douglas G. Keller, of Devon, Pa., for disorderly conduct and marijuana-related infractions in Lothrop Hall.

2:24 a.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a child custody issue in the 200 block of Melwood Street.

6:07 a.m. – Police cited student Melissa Mary Walsh, of Baltimore, Md., for underage drinking in the Litchfield Towers lobby.

3:43 p.m. – A staff member at Pitt’s public safety building reported a minor on-the-job injury.

3:59 p.m. – An officer cited a driver and confiscated the driver’s license plate for driving with a suspended registration at Center Avenue and Melwood Street.

Sunday, March 23

2:15 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Timothy Andrew Zuwiala, of Wyomissing, Pa., for underage drinking at the Q Lot near the corner of Sennott Street and Oakland Avenue.

2:58 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Mark A. Penn, of Monroeville, Pa., for drunken driving in the 100 block of South Bouquet Street.

5:56 a.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Lukasz Krzyanowksi, of Woodhaven, N.Y., for public intoxication at the Cathedral of Learning.

7:49 a.m. – A guard at the Cathedral of Learning reported finding the glass broken in the revolving doors facing Bigelow Boulevard.

3:17 p.m. – An individual reported that eggs had been thrown at his car in the 3400 block of Dawson Street.

10:40 p.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh Police with an armed robbery at Atwood and Bates streets.

Monday, March 24

7:42 a.m. – An officer cited and towed a car parked in the Facilities Management lot without a permit.

10:43 a.m. – Officers assisted Pittsburgh police with a stolen license plate report by a Pitt affiliate. The plate was stolen off campus.

11:17 a.m. – Polices arrested non-affiliate Darrell Mahaffey, homeless, on a warrant.

Tuesday, March 25

6:52 a.m. – An officer responded to a security alarm at Lawrence Hall. The alarm turned out to have been activated by staff members by accident.

6:11 p.m. – A staff member reported a threatening message on a restroom stall door in Posvar Hall. An investigation is pending.

8:03 a.m. – Officers took a K9 detail out to Pitt’s Greensburg campus to perform a security sweep ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign stop there in the early afternoon.

10:20 a.m. – A staff member notified Pitt police of a harassment incident at her residence that had been reported to the Ohio Township police.
