Some people have to keep their hands busy, whether they’re smoking a cigarette, playing with their hair or doodling. Pittsburgh-based artist Tom Sarver is one such individual, although his hand gestures are comparatively more productive.

His house, The Tom Museum in the North Side, displays the artist’s never-ending handiwork and bursts wall-to-wall with color and cartoons, puppets and playthings, microcosms of Sarver’s own creation.
