Last Monday, he proved he’s now the undisputed No. 1. Gavin won an 8-4 decision over No. 2-ranked Matt Stolpinski of Navy at the NWCA All-Star Classic at McArthur Court in Eugene, Ore.

Gavin, only the fourth Pitt wrestler to ever earn an invitation to the Classic, now has three wins on the season. Gavin and the Pitt wrestling team wrestles next on Fri., Nov. 30, in the Las Vegas Invitational.
