This is Pitt’s first road conference game of the year.

It’s been six games since the Panthers came out victorious against Louisville, including a 48-24 loss at home last year. The last time the Panthers defeated Louisville was in 1983.
The Cardinals are coming off a loss last week to No. 23 Connecticut.
Despite their .500 record, the Cardinals are 11th in the nation in points scored at 38.6 points per game.
Quarterback could prove to be the game’s most important position, with Pitt starting freshman Pat Bostick against Louisville’s senior leader Brian Brohm, one of the top NFL quarterback prospects.
