7:49 p.m. – A person reported damage to his vehicle after a hit-and-run. An investigation is pending.
8:41 p.m. – A person was transported to UPMC Presbyterian for evaluation after falling at Fifth Avenue and Bellefield Street. The incident was cleared.
Wednesday, March 7 7:38 a.m. – Officers towed a car and cited the driver for driving with a suspended license in the 300 block of Bouquet Street. The incident was cleared.
9:28 a.m. – A homeless person found in a restroom in Posvar Hall was transported to community services by a patrol car. The incident was cleared.
4:22 p.m. – Officers arrested student Tommie Campbell, of 250 South Bouquet St., for disorderly conduct in Bouquet gardens Building E.
5:20 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Harold Meltzer, of no fixed address, for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall.
8:43 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a search for a stolen vehicle. The incident was cleared.
Thursday, March 8 2:26 a.m. – Officers checked for the smell of marijuana after receiving a complaint in Pennsylvania Hall. The call was unfounded, and the incident was cleared.
10:07 a.m. – A person reported the theft of her wallet and subsequent use of her credit card at the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue. The incident was cleared.
4:59 p.m. – Officers checked on four people removing metal from Dumpsters in the 100 block of Bouquet Street. The people replaced the metal and left the areas. The incident was cleared.
6:32 p.m. – Staff members in Lothrop Hall reported that an unauthorized person attempted to steal items from a stock room and fled the area. An investigation is pending.
Friday, March 9 2:22 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of the theft of a purse from a business in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue. The incident was cleared.
8:42 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Gregory James Galvez, of 714 Leydon St., for possession of drug paraphernalia at Sennott Street and Oakland Avenue.
Saturday, March 10 6:20 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a search for the source of shots fired in the Schenley Farms area. The incident was cleared.
8:03 a.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Timothy Charles Newman, of Gibsonia, Pa., for drunk driving at Forbes and Oakland Avenues.
5:33 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate David A. Rose, Sr., of 1400 Center St., for forgery, possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.
Sunday, March 11 3:17 a.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Derrick McLaughlin, of 172 Robinson St., for defiant trespass in Scaife Hall.
6:55 p.m. – A person reported the burglary of her apartment at the Centre Plaza Apartments. An investigation is pending.
Monday, March 12 3:09 p.m. – A person reported that someone took his picture with a cell phone while he was in a restroom stall in the Petersen Events Center. The incident was cleared.
9:08 p.m. – A staff member in the Chevron Science Center reported extinguishing a small fire in a trashcan. The incident was cleared.
11:29 p.m. – Officers arrested non-affiliate Harold Meltzer, of no fixed address, for defiant trespass in Lawrence Hall.
Wednesday, March 14 9:05 a.m. – A person turned over a purse found at an unknown location. The item was placed in recovered property and the incident was cleared.
