Prabakaran, a liaison to the organization STAND – Students Taking Action Now: Darfur – was one of the 119 students who wrote letters to state and congressional leaders yesterday in Towers Lobby asking for their involvement in ending the genocide in Darfur.

“Although the UN and the international community have pledged to ‘Never Again’ allow genocide to occur,” Prabakaran wrote, “we seem to have failed. Refusing to even acknowledge this shows the unwillingness of the UN to take responsibility and action
