They are every team in the NFL that has to play New Orleans. By no means are the Panthers a charity case, but they are like the Saints in that you want them to win for reasons far beyond basketball.
This game hinges on the guard play for the Broncos. Everybody knows what to expect from Pitt between Ronald Ramon, Antonio Graves and Levance Fields, but how do the Broncos counter with nothing but a giant question mark at the point guard position? Pitt’s guards, much like the Panther frontcourt, proves to be too much for a still young Bronco team. Bottom line, this game means too much to everybody in the Pitt basketball program to be anything but a rout.
