Antonio Bryant, WR, Cleveland, (1999-2001) – Bryant, like the rest of his teammates, was kept out of the end zone in a 13-6 loss to Indianapolis. The receiver did, however, lead his team with 75 yards on seven catches.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona, (2002-2003) – For the second week in a row, all of the Cardinals’ points came on field goals, leading to a third-straight loss to open the season. Fitzgerald was limited to 41 yards on three receptions in Sunday’s 37-12 loss to Seattle.
Andy Lee, P, San Francisco, (2000-2003) – Lee averaged 39.8 yards a boot on five kicks Sunday, but his 49ers fell to Dallas to slip to 1-2 on the season.
Curtis Martin, HB, N.Y. Jets, (1991-1993) – Jacksonville’s rush defense proved to be too much for the veteran and his Jets, as New York dropped a 26-20 overtime decision to the Jaguars. Martin led the Jets with 67 yards rushing on 18 attempts.
Shawntae Spencer, DB, San Francisco, (2000-2003) – Six solo tackles weren’t enough for San Francisco’s defense, as the 49ers lost a 34-31 shootout to the Cowboys.
