9:35 a.m. – A William Pitt Union staff member reported the theft of a bunting from the outside of the building.1:14 p.m. – Officers received a report of harassment in the Cathedral of Learning.8:53 p.m. – In Tower B, police investigated an odor of smoke and confiscated drug paraphernalia.11:36 p.m. – Officers investigated the smell of someone smoking in Lothrop Hall.

4:42 a.m. – Police resolved a domestic dispute at Center Plaza Apartments and transported one party to Schenley Quad.11:21 a.m. – Officers recovered a cello in the Music Building.2:40 p.m. – Police received a report that there were 20 students involved in a fight. No location was reported.6:07 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Patrick A. Watt, of Tarentum, Pa., for graffiti.7:07 p.m. – A man held in custody a person who attempted to steal his vehicle.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

9:18 a.m. – A woman reported a plant missing from her office in the Petersen Events Center.4:37 p.m. – In the William Pitt Union, a woman expressed to an officer concern about an application she filled out at the job fair. An investigation is pending.5:38 p.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliates Dale Jones, of no fixed address, and Ronald Skarupa, of 5129 Lougean St., for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Bouquet and Sennott streets.11:06 p.m. – Officers observed two juveniles near a bike rack at Posvar Hall. The officers found the juveniles to be underage, brought them to the station for violating the city curfew, and released them to their parents.
