You are a special ops commander of the elite Navy SEALS in command of Alpha and Bravo teams and must find your way through 12 deadly missions, fighting numerous terrorist organizations. With stellar game play and crisp graphics, SOCOM is as attractive as it is difficult.

More than 30 weapons are at your disposal as you command your unit through various terrains to satisfy mission goals. The game features a unique option of playing online, where you can play with or against as many as 16 of your friends or strangers, but if you don’t have the broadband connection to play online there is the traditional one player mode.

Another unique feature is that you can control your unit and receive commands from headquarters through a headset included with the game and is necessary for game play; without it you have no sound. The controls take a little getting used to, because you have to use both analog joysticks to aim your weapon, which is unlike any other game in the market, but once you figure out the controls, all that is left is figuring out how to survive.
