Monday night, SGB voted to remove board member and President Pro Tempore Carrie Howard after her fourth unexcused absence from a meeting, pursuant to Article 1, Section VII of the SGB constitution. This rule states that any member who accumulates four absences may be dismissed from the board.
SGB did the right thing by invoking this rule. By not showing up for four meetings without an excuse, Howard betrayed those who voted for her. Five other people could have taken her place, but the student body chose her.
