‘No follow up, nothing’: Students struggle to report large parties

The COVID Concern Connection system — which gives the Pitt community an anonymous way to share concerns — has received more than 1,300 reports this year. But some students are not satisfied with this reporting system.
Thirsty Scholar Bar & Grille is located on Fifth Avenue. According to manager JoAnne Chizmar, Thirsty Scholar originally opened in-person dining in August, then shut down in December and reopened on Jan. 13.

Restaurants, bars open up to 75% capacity following state rule change

New Pitt Disability Community creates a group for faculty and staff with disabilities

Chloe Shearer was shocked upon being hired last November to find that Pitt did not have a faculty and staff community group for people with disabilities. So she took it upon herself to start one.
SGB created an Election Procedures Review task force to review the events leading up to election day, gather feedback on SGB elections and judicial codes and procedures and “reinforce public trust in SGB elections procedures by increasing public access to information,” according to the task force charter.

Pitt added 48 new COVID-19 cases, composed of 46 students and two employees, between last Friday and Monday, with 94 students currently in isolation.

ZeroDK, a pun on the phrase “zero decay,” combines the use of a toothbrush holder with a smartphone app that tracks how long users brush and floss their teeth.
