After Pitt softball and baseball's last games, things are looking rough for the Panthers as they head into their next matchups. Although softball did show an effort to revitalize the season, baseball still hasn’t found the key to winning a game.
After their weekend bout against Notre Dame, not only did the Panthers win their first ACC series, taking two of three games against the Fighting Irish, but they found a powerful offensive identity in the process.

Pitt softball’s woes continue, as they dropped a key rivalry game to Penn State 1-0 on Tuesday. Both team’s pitchers were lights-out, but Penn State narrowly edged out the Panthers in extra innings.
