Pitt students camped outside of the William Pitt Union overnight on Monday night, hoping to secure discounted tickets, transportation and lodging for Saturday’s ACC Championship Game in Charlotte, North Caroline.

ACC Championship game between Pitt, Wake Forest to feature no shortage of scoring

The 2021 ACC Championship game will feature two elite offenses, piloted by two of the country’s best quarterbacks. Expect points, points and more points when Pitt and Wake Forest battle for the conference crown this weekend.

Pitt takes down Virginia 48-38 at Heinz Field, clinching Coastal Division

In a back-and-forth affair, behind record days from redshirt senior quarterback Kenny Pickett and sophomore wide receiver Jordan Addison, the high-powered Panthers offense led the way in capturing Pitt’s second ACC Coastal title, earning a trip to the ACC Championship Game with a 48-38 win over Virginia.

Pitt super seniors look to avenge 2018 team, win ACC Championship

When walking into Pitt football’s practice facility on the South Side, the number of and the notoriety of the awards dotting the walls is staggering — a Heisman trophy, a Biletnikoff award, national championship trophies and a 2018 Coastal Division title trophy. But one award has eluded the Pitt football program — an ACC Championship.

Pitt jumped five spots from No. 25 to 20 in the latest Associated Press top 25 football poll. The jump comes on the coattails of the Panthers’ overtime victory over the UNC Tar Heels last Thursday. Baylor, who moved up seven spots to No. 11, was the only team that jumped more spots than the Panthers this week.
