Before you can live like a professional baseball player, you have to get through some tough years in the minor leagues. That means long bus rides, living with host families and at times sleeping with bed bugs.

Host families enrich the study abroad experience

The most valuable experiences I had in Morocco were those that couldn’t have been more different from life in the United States — and that I would not have experienced had I stayed with other American students instead of my host family.
