In-person classes returned for the first time since the fall semester on Thursday — to mixed reviews. While some students said they were happy to be back in the classroom, others said high COVID-19 cases made in-person classes risky.

Now entering the second week of fully in-person classes, many Pitt students are still trying to adjust to running to meetings, racing to dining facilities and finding seats in big lecture halls.
