Pitt drops close contest to Niagara, 71-70

After being held scoreless for the first three minutes of their game on Monday, the Panthers lost their first game of the season at home on Monday night. Pitt tried to rally in the final second of the game, but it wasn't enough and Niagara won 71-70.
Panthers’ volleyball ended the season with a 30-2 record — succumbing to Michigan in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at the Petersen Events Center Saturday night.

Takeaways: Pitt reverted back to its old self against Miami

While Pitt’s 24-3 loss against Miami on Saturday was far from good, the implications weren’t too bad. Aside from snapping its four game win streak, the loss will likely drop them from the top 25 rankings and give them a lesser bowl game. But Pitt will still be playing in the ACC Championship on Saturday.

Duke ends Pitt men’s soccer’s historic season
