Pitt women’s soccer outclassed in Tallahassee, fall to No. 1 Seminoles 5-0

Pitt women’s soccer fell to the No. 1 Florida State Seminoles in the middle leg of their three-game road trip, by a score of 5-0.
No. 19 Pitt women’s soccer lost 2-0 against the Clemson Tigers Thursday night at Historic Riggs Field.

Pitt women’s soccer drops first ACC match 2-0 to Clemson Tigers

Pitt women’s soccer (7-2-0, 0-1-0 ACC) started a three-game road trip Thursday with a visit to Clemson (6-2-0, 1-0-0 ACC), where they fell to the Tigers 2-0. The match kicked off both the Panthers’ and the Tigers’ ACC schedules after they finished 7-1 and 5-2 in non-conference play respectively.

To delight of fans and players, Ambrose Urbanic Field welcomes crowds back

It had been nearly two years since the last time fans packed the bleachers at Ambrose Urbanic Field. Prior to the 2021 season, Pitt athletics announced that after a COVID-19-induced hiatus, spectators would be once again allowed to watch a live sporting event on Pitt’s upper campus.
