Pitt women’s basketball (4-9, 2-8 ACC) continued its recent cold-streak futility with its fifth loss in a row, this time against North Carolina (10-8, 5-8 ACC) with a score of 81-72. This comes on the heels of a matchup where Pitt surrendered a late lead to Wake Forest and lost in overtime.
Pitt fell 71-61 to Syracuse Sunday afternoon.

Fouls and turnovers cost Pitt a close game against Syracuse

Despite a close game in the fourth quarter, Pitt women’s basketball could not bounce back at home against the Syracuse Orange on Sunday, losing 71-67. The Panthers have dropped both games against the Orange, and extended their now three-game losing streak.
The Pitt women's basketball team lost 74-55 to the Virginia Tech Hokies Thursday night at the Petersen Events Center, now falling to 2-5 in the ACC and 4-6 overall.

Pitt paused all team activities in accordance with the ACC’s coronavirus protocols and will not play again until at least Jan. 21.
