Pitt police issued two citations for retail theft at Litchfield Towers Lobby. 

An individual reported a hit and run at Sutherland Drive. A truck reportedly backed into a wall at Salk Hall. 

An individual reported her iPad was missing at the SCI Building. 

An individual reported finding drug paraphernalia at Litchfield Towers Lobby. Upon arrival, Pitt police confiscated the items to destroy them at a later date and time.

An individual reported the theft of their bicycle. Investigation pending. 

Friday, March 3

Campus security authorities reported a liquor law violation at Sutherland Hall. One student was issued a conduct referral. 

Pitt police reported a hit and run of an unattended vehicle at 3700 Block of Forbes Avenue. 

Pitt police assisted Peters Township police with a wallet that was stolen or lost at the Petersen Events Center. 

Pitt police assisted City police with a possible sex offense at Beeler Street. 

A campus security authority reported a drug law violation at Litchfield Tower C. One student was issued a conduct referral. 

An individual reported the theft of their bicycle at 3900 Block of Forbes Avenue. Investigation pending. 

A student reported a theft by deception at 2800 Block of Centre Avenue. Investigation pending. 

A resident director reported finding drug paraphernalia in a dorm room at Litchfield Tower C. Pitt police confiscated the items and one student was issued a conduct referral.

Saturday, March 4

Residence life reported a liquor law violation from Dec. 1 at Litchfield Tower B. Conduct referrals issued. 

Residence life reported a liquor law violation from Dec. 17 at Holland Hall. Conduct referrals issued. 

Residence life reported a sexual assault from Dec. 3 at Holland Hall. 

An individual reported a hit and run at OC Lot. Investigation pending.

An individual reported a criminal mischief at a Bouquet Street meter parking lot and green space. Investigation pending. 

Pitt police issued one individual a warrant for arrest at the Cathedral of Learning. 

Monday, March 6

Pitt police assisted City police with a criminal mischief and possible stocking investigation at 5800 Block of Beacon Street. 

Tuesday, March 7

An individual reported the theft of his bicycle at the Public Health building. Investigation pending. 

An individual reported the theft of their bicycle at Benedum Hall. Investigation pending. 

Wednesday, March 8

Pitt police reported nothing in the crime log. 

Thursday, March 9

Pitt police assisted City police with a stolen vehicle at North Craig Street and Bayard Street. 

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Security reported seven aggravated assaults for the 2022 calendar year.

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Security reported one drug law arrest for the 2022 calendar year.

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Security reported one weapons law arrest for the 2022 calendar year.

Friday, March 10

An individual reported she was being harassed and threatened by another student at the Public Safety Building. Investigation pending. 

Pitt police arrested one individual for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking at Nordenberg Hall.

Saturday, March 11

Pitt police reported nothing in the crime log. 

Sunday, March 12

Pitt police assisted City police with an assault at 100 Block of Atwood Street. 

Pitt police reported criminal mischief after finding graffiti on a sign at Centre Plaza Apartments. Investigation pending.

Pitt police confiscated a small amount of marijuana at Lothrop Hall. Two students were issued conduct referrals.
