Wrestling: Pitt ranked 14th in the nation

The Panthers received 102 points in the USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll, which is just two points behind No. 13 Virginia Tech.

Tyler Nauman, a returning NCAA All-American, is ranked No. 3 in the country in the 141-pound weight class. Five other players also made the national rankings.

Pitt faces a tough schedule, with seven nationally-ranked teams, including at No. 6 Penn State, No. 12 Ohio State, No. 15 Nebraska, No. 17 Lehigh, No. 18 Michigan, No. 19 Northwestern and No. 23 Virginia.

The Panthers will kick off the season Nov. 6 at the Clarion Open in Clarion, Pa.
