Photos: Pittsburgh Palestine Coalition holds “die-in” on Forbes Avenue

About 60 people joined Pittsburgh Palestine Coalition’s “die-in” protest to demand a ceasefire in Gaza. Protesters listened to speeches from the organizers, then spent about 15 minutes staging a die-in on the Cathedral of Learning lawn before moving to the intersection of Forbes and Bigelow for another 15 minutes.

A group of roughly 20 counter protesters in support of Israel showed up to the Cathedral lawn soon after the protesters began the initial die-in. The two groups remained peaceful and the whole protest lasted over an hour.
