Monday, Aug. 24
9:40 a.m. — Police responded to a call about a theft of computers from a third-floor classroom in Eberly Hall.
4:43 p.m. — Police issued a warrant arrest to non-affiliate Erik Eakin, of 104 Sheffield Court, Allison Park, Pa., for open lewdness.
7:10 p.m. — Police responded to a theft of an unattended bag at the Cathedral of Learning lawn.
Wednesday, Aug. 26
12:40 p.m. — Police summons arrested non-affiliate, Starr V. Lane, of 2112 Bentley Drive, for retail theft from the T-Mobile store on Forbes Avenue.
4:41 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with an abandoned bag in front of the Rite Aid on Atwood Street.
5:01 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Anthony Davis, of 177 38th St., for defiant trespass.
6:56 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Jason Malek, of 626 Mound St., Monongahela, Pa., for not having a vending permit in the Schenley Quadrangle.
10:05 p.m. — Police responded to a false firm alarm in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. The alarm was triggered by illegal fireworks, so the fraternity will be sent to the University’s Judicial Board.
Thursday, Aug. 27
6:34 a.m. — Officers observed a known individual passing through Forbes Quad.
Friday, Aug. 28
12:23 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a couch on fire in the 200 block of Meyran Avenue. The city fire department responded, as well.
1:57 a.m. — Police cited students Adam Winton Chandler, of 983 N. 6th St., Philadelphia, and Henok Kiflit, of 27 Linden Square, Wellesley, Mass., for underage drinking in the Litchfield Towers Lobby.
3:35 p.m. — Police received reports of fraudulent charges on a credit card in McCormick Hall.
5:55 p.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Christina Rose, of 3730 East St., for failure to appear from the county sheriff’s office at O’Hara and Thackeray streets.
6:11 p.m. — Officers warned an aggressive panhandler by Schenley Plaza to leave the area.
6:28 p.m. — Police sent three students to the University’s Judicial Board for possession of a small amount of marijuana in the Frick Fine Arts building.
8:55 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Denver E. Cooper III, of 1500 Eben St., for aggressive panhandling near the corner of Craig Street and Forbes Avenue.
10:55 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a robbery in the 200 block of Ophelia Street.
Saturday, Aug. 29
2:13 a.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Laquaya Raelynn Cotton, of 115 Oakland Court, for simple assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in the 300 block of Atwood Street.
2:44 p.m. — An unknown person put a garbage bag filled with water at the top of the steps of the Pi Kappa Alpha house. The bag fell, flooding the room. An investigation is pending.
12:21 p.m. — Police recovered five wallets and two cell phones and placed them in the recovered property room.
1:44 p.m. — Police received a report that a Pitt shuttle hit a vehicle on Sutherland Drive.
3:23 p.m. — Police asked a person sleeping in a bus shelter on Bigelow Boulevard near the William Pitt Union to leave. The person left.
10:26 p.m. — Police cited student Kevin Robert Fulton, of 747 Harden Drive, for an open container violation in the SS Lot.
Sunday, Aug. 30
12:56 a.m. — Police cited student Anne C Brown, of 4236 Harvard Road, Erie, Pa., for underage drinking in Holland Hall.
1:43 a.m. — Police responded to a report that a student was punched in the face by an unknown person on DeSoto Street in front of the Petersen Events Center.
4:41 p.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Michael Challis, of 490 E. 15th Ave., Columbus, Ohio, for an open container violation in the 100 block of South Bouquet Street.
Wednesday, Sept. 2
10:11 a.m. — Police cited student Andrew Deeley, of 326 N. Neville St., for disorderly conduct and marijuana in the Litchfield Towers Lobby.
12:53 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with a shoplifter at the Rite Aid in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.
10:44 p.m. — Pitt police assisted city police with two people acting suspiciously in the 700 block of Devonshire Street.
Thursday, Sept. 3
12:55 a.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Mark Steven Mitchell Jr., of 1211 Duquesne Place, Duquesne, Pa., for assault/domestic violence at Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.
