Boston University’s poor defense and even sloppier offense gave Pitt an 83-50 win last night at the Petersen Events Center.

The Terriers missed one shot after another, had two missed tip-ins in 10 seconds and a teammate even had a pass go through his legs in the first half. Pitt had five steals in the first half alone.

Eleven of the points came from turnovers, and eight were second-chance points. In the second half, Pitt (6-0) added 41 points to the score with 14 more from turnovers.
