6:26 p.m. – A woman injured herself while on the climbing wall in Trees Hall. She was transported to the emergency room.
6:46 p.m. – Pitt Police assisted city police in a reported assault at Schenley Plaza. City police handled the incident.
Thursday, Jan. 19
10:03 a.m. – Someone was hit by a vehicle in the 200 block of S. Bouquet Street.
5:53 p.m. – A woman fell and injured herself in the William Pitt Union.
Friday, Jan. 20
12:21 a.m. – Officers extinguished a car fire at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.
1:02 a.m. – Police cited student Nicole Diane Ebert, of Spring, Texas, for public drunkenness at 3950 Forbes Ave.
5:45 a.m. – The custodial staff at Biomedical Science Tower 3 found bio-hazardous material in the garbage.
2:56 p.m. – A woman reported the theft of her backpack from Bellefield Hall.
3:17 p.m. – An officer extinguished a fire in a trashcan in front of David Lawrence Hall.
5:08 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his books from Hillman Library.
Saturday, Jan. 21
12:41 a.m. – Police cited student Robert J. McBeth, of Sutherland Hall, for underage drinking.
1:04 a.m. – Officers assisted Carlow College Police with a disturbance on their campus.
2:21 a.m. – Student Christopher O’Donohue, of 3440 Dawson St., was cited for underage drinking on Aliquippa Street near Sutherland Hall.
9:36 p.m. – Police cited students James Buckley, Christopher A. Powers and Daniel Verkhlin, of Forbes Hall, and students Matthew Pappalardo and Samuel R. Stoyak, of Sutherland Hall, for underage drinking in the 3500 block of Euler Way.
Sunday, Jan. 22
12:30 a.m. – Student Peter Cheney, of Sutherland Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.
2:30 a.m. – An officer cited student Benjamin Rickles, of Litchfield Tower B, for disorderly conduct near David Lawrence Hall.
4:16 a.m. – Student Keith A. Lerch, of Bouquet Gardens, was cited for underage drinking in Litchfield Towers.
10:34 a.m. – An officer found a dead hawk on Victoria Street. The game commission was notified.
10:51 a.m. – Someone in Litchfield Tower A reported being harassed by statements written on the wall.
6:16 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with demonstrations at various locations following the Steeler Game. The incident was cleared.
Monday, Jan. 23
4:15 a.m. – A custodian reported finding damage to a vending machine in Trees Hall.
10:47 a.m. – Someone reported seeing a suspicious man trying to enter vehicles parked on Bayard Street. Officers checked the area, but could not find the man.
5:04 p.m. – Officers cited and towed vehicles parked in areas on O’Hara and Darragh streets that were posted no parking for the basketball game.
6:14 p.m. – Police cited non-affiliate Kyle P. Wagner, of 407 West Street, for defiant trespass in David Lawrence Hall.
6:14 p.m. – An officer cited a vehicle for parking near a fireplug at the intersection of Darragh and Dunseith streets. The officer also confiscated a suspended license plate from the vehicle.
6:54 p.m. – An officer cited and towed a car parked in an area in the 100 block of Ruskin Avenue that was posted no parking for building construction.
8:45 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of domestic disturbance at the Stephen Foster Memorial. One of the people involved left before the officers arrived.
11:52 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Jeylon Davis, of Las Vegas, Nev., for robbery by force with a gun at the intersection of Juliet Street and the Boulevard of the Allies.
Tuesday, Jan. 24
8:38 a.m. – The assistant chairman of the chemistry department expressed concerns about the location of a visiting researcher. An investigation is pending.
2:04 p.m. – A man reported finding damage to his car when he returned to the Old Cemetery Lot.
3:27 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported assault at the intersection of Ruskin Street and Bigelow Boulevard.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
2:05 a.m. – An officer responded to the smell of smoke in Biomedical Science Tower 3. The officer and an engineer discovered an electrical short in a freezer unit. The unit was unplugged.
3:15 p.m. – A woman reported the theft of her book bag from Hillman Library.
4:10 p.m. – Officers cited and towed cars parked on Darragh Street in an area that was marked no parking for the track meet.
10:58 p.m. – Officers assisted firefighters in responding to a report of a shed on fire at the construction site near Pennsylvania Hall. They found that the fire was caused by a heater and did not present a problem.
