Softball ties school record for wins in a single season

The Pitt softball team finished the season winning just two of its last eight games, but… The Pitt softball team finished the season winning just two of its last eight games, but those two wins were huge. The Panthers compiled a 21-33 record (6-14 Big East), which ties a school record for most wins in a season, set in 2000. The 21st victory came against Big East rival Providence in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday.
