Harshitha Ramanan won the SGB presidency by a two-to-one margin despite not being the favored candidate heading into the election. Her victory followed an outpouring of support on social media after the Vision slate was removed from the ballot.
Catherine Pressimone, a rising third-year medical student and cofounder of Pitt Influenzers, said she founded the club based on three areas she felt needed more attention and awareness from the people, with one of their primary initiatives being to pass legislation that allows dentists to administer COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines.

Pitt added eight new COVID-19 cases, composed of seven students and one employee, between last Friday and Monday, with 24 students currently in isolation.
According to a petition, the houses at 3401-3421 Bates St. and 392 Coltart Ave. near Boulevard of the Allies are a “public nuisance” due to their dilapidated and uninhabited state.

The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board ruled in Pitt’s favor on Friday in an ongoing dispute stemming from the April 2019 election in which graduate students voted against unionization by roughly 40 votes.

Following a request from Student Government Board President Eric Macadangdang, students were given two Self-Care Days this semester — with the next one on March 24 — after spring break was cancelled.
