Pitt announces Panthers Forward to ease student debt

While there’s little Pitt can do to procure more funding from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the University wants to help students deal with their debt. Pitt announced the creation of Panthers Forward yesterday, a new debt easement program that aims to to help fund current students’ education by utilizing the University’s alumni network.

The complaint alleges that Rosfeld was “not fully qualified to perform his duties as a Pitt Police Officer” and that Rosfeld’s “prior work history and conduct raised red flags and/or concerns pertaining to his ability to work safely with the public in performing his duties as a Pitt Police Officer.”

Pitt Board approves budgets for 2018-19 school year

Pitt received $4.4 million more from Pennsylvania than in 2017. “The vast majority of in-state students” will not face a tuition increase, according to Chancellor Gallagher. Out-of-state, engineering and graduate students face an increase.
