Pitt’s peregrine falcons take flight

The peregrine falcon chicks, now called fledges, that recently hatched on the Cathedral of Learning have taken their first flights as of June 3. The fledges, who hatched on April 22, had been preparing for their first flights over the past few days by hopping along the ledges of the Cathedral.

Students arrested at on-campus pro-Palestinian protest set dates for court sessions

The two pro-Palestinian protesters arrested on-campus on April 28 will appear at the Allegheny County Courthouse to plead their cases. The arrests came after protesters gathered in the area between the Cathedral of Learning and the William Pitt Union following days of demonstrating in Schenley Plaza.
