Over 300 people rallied near Schenley Plaza to support Palestinian people on Friday afternoon. Those in attendance gathered in a circle to listen to speeches before walking down Forbes Ave to Carnegie Mellon University where more speakers talked about the treatment of Palestinians and the recent news about the situation between Israel and Palestine.
Students, faculty and staff commemorated “I Love Pitt Day” on Wednesday with games, free swag and a protest against the University outside the William Pitt Union.

Chancellor Joan Gabel sent out an email statement to the Pitt community on Thursday afternoon regarding the recent attacks that took place in Israel. Gabel said, “In no uncertain terms, we condemn these unconscionable, barbaric acts.”
