The Pitt News

Sarah Connor is the social media/online engagement editor at The Pitt News and a senior double majoring in communications and English nonfiction writing. She served as TPN's culture editor throughout her junior year and was a staff writer for both culture and news desks during her sophomore year. Sarah is a native of the Pittsburgh area, calling Moon Township -- a suburb about 20 miles from campus -- her hometown. In the fall of 2018, Sarah worked as an editorial intern at Pittsburgh Magazine and was the arts and entertainment intern with Pittsburgh City Paper in the summer of 2019. When she isn't writing or editing, Sarah can be found skating with the Pitt figure skating club and showing off her beloved French bulldog, Beau. After she graduates in spring 2020, Sarah plans to pursue a career in journalism.
