‘A different lifestyle’: Students navigate a semester at home

Some students, such as Nish Rajkanth, are currently living in their childhood bedrooms rather than a cramped dorm room. Rajkanth, who is currently in South Brunswick, New Jersey, said taking college classes from home sometimes feels like she’s back in high school.

Cudd: Spring break eliminated, start of spring semester pushed back

The start of spring semester was pushed back a week from January 11 to January 19 and spring break was eliminated as part of a compressed schedule to increase safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, Provost Ann Cudd said in a Wednesday morning email.

Pitt to allow in-person classes if ‘definable benefit,’ remainder to stay online during Elevated posture

Provost Ann Cudd said in a Wednesday afternoon email to faculty members that they can apply to teach their classes in person if there is a “definable benefit” to in-person instruction, and if an instructor’s dean or regional campus president approves teaching plans.
Finding the motivation to go to class in an ideal situation is already hard enough.
