Students find problems with added COVID-19 testing, move-in procedures

The University required all unvaccinated and vaccinated students to submit a negative COVID-19 test as part of spring move-in procedures. But many students found problems with using the Pitt-provided Quest tests.

Pitt’s vaccination policy, which requires that all students, faculty and staff be vaccinated against COVID-19, went into effect Monday. The stakes for unvaccinated students who don’t get an exemption are high — disenrollment for the spring semester.

Faculty Assembly discusses unionization vote, Outlier partnership

Pitt’s Faculty Assembly met Wednesday afternoon in a hybrid fashion to discuss the faculty union vote, union contract negotiation and a report from the Senate Budget Policies Committee about Pitt's partnership with the Outlier program.
The CMRO said the Pitt CoVax Vaccination Center will offer COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5-11 as early as Nov. 4.
