Pitt student Hana Goodman and local organizations join forces to create adaptive skateboarding events for the blind

A growing skateboarding culture in Pittsburgh has made it their mission to include people of all abilities. Pitt graduate student Hana Goodman recently teamed up with two local organizations to teach people with visual impairments to skateboard.
Senior Michaela Burton holds the highest individual scores for the season on both bars and beam with a 9.850 and 9.925, respectively, and she has earned 10 individual event titles so far.
