Almost 20 years ago today, Carrie Bradshaw uttered the iconic words, “Men I may not know, but shoes, shoes I know.” I can relate to this quote as I love fashion, almost concerningly so.

Shaving your head can foster confidence and affirm the fluidity of gender, even if it’s just something you do once to change up your routine. 

Femininity is not a weakness. Strength is too often grouped with masculinity, but I believe that true strength is resilience. I think that it’s time for me, and women everywhere, to recognize that just because we’re feminine doesn’t mean that we’re not intelligent, strong or a feminist. I encourage women everywhere to embrace the feminine side of themselves.
