Pitt students and faculty stopped by the Global Hub on Wednesday to enjoy the Lunar New Year celebration. Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year, is a festival that celebrates the beginning of the new year based on the lunar calendar.

Dance teams take their practices, performances online

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Pitt’s Irish dance club could be found every Monday night practicing in the Pete. But this year, Mary Grace Mooney, the president of the team, said the timed jumps and leaps will have to be done within the walls of dorm rooms, apartments and parking lots.
Global Brew, hosted in Posvar Hall’s Global Hub, aims to educate people on the details of the worldwide coffee industry and its economic implications and consequences for both producers and consumers.
