Baseball takes two of three from No. 11 Louisville

Pitt baseball earned a pivotal series victory over conference opponent Louisville, netting wins in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday and on Sunday due to strong starting pitching and offensive production across the lineup.

Pitt women’s basketball suffered its third consecutive blowout loss in ACC play on Thursday night, succumbing to No. 3 Louisville 81-39. After more than two weeks off, the Panthers looked rusty rather than well-rested.
