More states are beginning to legalize the use of medical marijuana (AKA medical cannabis) and some patients are getting the opportunity to try new therapies for previously difficult to treat conditions.

The fact that an individual can be denied housing when they would otherwise be eligible is ridiculous, and the use of medical marijuana should not be considered when determining if a person qualifies for Section 8 housing.
