Pitt alum Daniel McCloskey released a middle grade graphic novel last spring called “Cloud Town,” which follows two best friends as they move schools and navigate new stressors while simultaneously trying to save their world.

Kate’s Kid Book Bash returned to East Liberty on Saturday for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured Riverstone Books, as well as more than 28 children’s and young adult authors from Pittsburgh and beyond.
