Vice Provost and Dean of Students Kenyon Bonner announced in a Tuesday press release that independent student organizations affected by the new Student Organization Resource Center naming guidelines will be allowed to sell the remainder of their non-compliant marketing materials before April 30, 2021.

After announcing three weeks ago that a Student Government Board task force would be created to preserve current student organization names, President Zechariah Brown said at Tuesday’s public meeting that the task force plans to hold its first meeting this Sunday.
SGB provided an update on the student task force for clubs and organizations in response to SORC’s updated registration guidelines Tuesday night.

At its second public meeting of the year Tuesday night, Student Government Board provided an update on a recently announced student task force, as well as several new upcoming initiatives.
The University is aiming to instate its new student organization name policy in fall 2020.
