OPDC held a public development activities meeting Monday night to discuss Shadyside developer Walnut Capital’s Oakland Crossings proposal, which would rezone 17 acres of land in South and Central Oakland.

Current stormwater collection is “creating erosion” as water collects downhill from the Lawn and Ophelia parklet, local water officials said Wednesday. Because of this and the aging playground equipment currently there, they said it is time for a change.

Clark Street Holdings presented its plan to develop a multi-use space, similar to the recently constructed Bridge on Forbes building, on the former site of the Marathon gas station at 3500 Forbes Ave.
