‘Meeting through eating’: New student-launched web app builds connections through food

“Potluck” is rebranding to “Greatings,” and the organization is launching a new website in March. Founded by students Avi Moses, Joe Slomowitz and Oliver Yao, users can join or create groups on the platform to meet up in person at a local eatery or brewery and socialize with new people.

Pitt students develop Potluck app to connect people through food

Potluck is a platform where users can connect with each other online and meet up to have a meal. Currently, Potluck is still in development by a group of Pitt students, but they have a growing community of interested individuals.
