Pitt endures late push from Blue Devils, defeats Duke 28-26 on Senior Day

The Panthers welcomed the Duke Blue Devils for Senior Day on Saturday afternoon. Pitt gave its seniors a reason to celebrate, taking down the Blue Devils 28-26. Junior running back Israel Abanikanda finished the game with 117 yards rushing.

Pitt men’s basketball to play 11 out-of-conference games ahead of ACC play in 2022

Pitt men’s basketball now has its full slate of opponents after releasing its non-conference schedule last week. The Panthers will play 11 games out of conference in preparation for their 20-game slate against ACC opponents.

After four seasons at Pitt, head coach Lance White mustered just eight wins in conference play in 2021. After another poor season, fans quickly realized that the Panthers lagged behind the rest of the ACC from a talent perspective.In the form of five newcomers – including three first-years – Pitt underwent a much needed overhaul.
