Eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer put on a Masterclass in Sunday’s Wimbledon epic, but it wasn’t enough to beat his rival Novak Djokovic, even though Federer was the superior player throughout most of the match.

No man has ever beaten Rafael Nadal in a French Open final. And after he secured an unprecedented 12th title on the Parisian red clay two weeks ago, it’s hard to believe anyone ever will.
