Panthers rebound, sweep No. 20 Clemson in weather-shortened weekend series

Weather affected Pitt’s weekend series against Clemson, but the Panthers were still able to sweep the 20th-ranked team in the country. The sweep could be a turning point, as Pitt baseball recovers from losing six out of its last eight.
No. 17 Pitt baseball (20-11, 14-10 ACC) took two of three games over the weekend against the North Carolina Tar Heels (19-15, 13-12).

No. 19 Pitt baseball took two of three games over the weekend against the North Carolina Tar Heels in a series that saw a little bit of everything. From a rain-induced postponement, to a pitchers duel on Saturday and a slugfest on Sunday, there was no shortage of action in the pivotal ACC matchup.
Pitt baseball returned to Charles L. Cost Field and split the first two of three games against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this weekend. The series was moved back two days from its initial start date due to inclimate weather on Thursday.

Pitt baseball returned to Charles L. Cost Field and split the first two of three games against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this weekend. The series was moved back two days from its initial start date due to inclimate weather on Thursday. The Panthers came in looking for a home ACC series win after they were swept by Virginia Tech in their first conference series of the year last week.
