The 70th anniversary celebration of the Salk polio vaccine took place Friday afternoon in the Teplitz Memorial Courtroom in the School of Law. The event featured Dr. Peter Salk and other health professionals who celebrated the lasting impact of the vaccine and discussed issues like vaccine skepticism.

The construction on Bigelow Boulevard is now set to finish its third and final phase in October. It originally had an August completion date, before Welcome Week for incoming first-year students.
